We must adapt ourselves to our changing circumstances and find our self and our spirit in every experience both expected and unexpected. I appreciate the story of the oak tree and the willow tree.
An oak tree stands strong and rigid against the strongest of winds. The branches don't give an inch and when the burden of the wind, snow or ice becomes too much, the oak tree's great branches begin to break off.
The willow tree, on the other hand, bends instantly when faced with environmental challenges. The slightest bit of snow, is immediately removed as the branches bend in the wind, allowing the branch to spring back up again, fresh and renewed.
Tami Gaines embraces the lessons of the willow tree you can only achieve what you desire through a process of yielding to adversity, of letting go and springing back up renewed.
You are welcome here.
